Brand Identity
Together with my peers Jillian Bird and Emm Stoddard, I worked on a team to create an original, cohesive brand identity, as well as a suite of posters and launch assets for Cornish College of the Arts’ 2025 Design BFA Gallery.
We wanted a brand that felt present but not overpowering. Something that would feel eye-catching on advertisements but wouldn’t compete for attention in the gallery space. Inspired by our multidisciplinary cohort and our collective love of process, we landed on “Synthesis.”
Process
This work went through many phases. Jillian and I originally pitched our brand theme “Synthesis” in Fall 2024, and after a round of presentations, voting from our classmates, faculty, and administration, our brand was chosen to be fully developed for the gallery.
Over the course of four weeks in Spring 2025, Jillian, Emm, and I created the finalized brand identity and deliverables, which included three posters, a calendar header, a ticket header, a Facebook banner, and multiple Instagram post templates. We also created a complete brand bible for our classmates to follow so that supporting assets such as wall placards or way-finding signage in the gallery stayed on brand as we put our thesis showcase together.
